Ginny Walters is a fourth-year student double majoring in Journalism and Secondary Language Arts Education. Upon graduating, she plans to earn her Masters degree in Education and then teach English in an urban underprivileged school district and freelance on the side.

Ginny is very involved on campus. Her activities include being an active member of her social sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta; being a ROAR Tour Guide for the Office of Admissions; starting a chapter of College Mentors for Kids, a college mentoring program, on UC’s campus; and writing occasional articles for UC’s student-run newspaper, The News Record. Ginny is also very involved with the University Honors Program here, taking Honors seminars and leading the freshman Honors Retreat.
